One of God’s favorite words is “come”.
God tells us “come” let’s talk about your life and if your sins are like scarlet I will make them white as snow… Isaiah 1:18.
He also tells us, “…my children come and I will teach you…” Psalms 34:11.
And if we are thirsty we can come and drink…. John 7:37.
If we are weary and carry heavy burdens he says, “Come, I will give you rest….” Matthew 11:28.
God makes us an invitation, “come”, to make our lives better or right with Him. He also makes the invitation to come and learn from Him. And if we find ourselves thirsty, not satisfied, He wants to give us fulfillment. Now if the case is that we find ourselves weary and tired from life and everything that happens around us, He promises to give us rest.
A man’s life changes completely, when he responds to the invitation “come.”
Peter was invited by Jesus Christ to become a fisher of men. One day when Jesus was walking on water He invited Peter to come and walk with Him. Peter did and his life was marked forever. I asked myself if God is inviting us today to come and get closer, to learn, to respect, to find fulfillment, to find rest, or to just take a walk with Him, to fellowship in His presence or to go into the unknown or to take the challenge to serve Him or to do what He has called us to do.
Take a break and stop and listen to Gods invitations.
Hey, come!
