Children's Ministries include classes for children ages newborn to nine years old.
We have Sunday School (Power House), FW Friends on Wednesdays, Toddler classes, and Nursery.
The children's ministry, Power House ministries, got its name in August 1997 after celebrating Vacation Bible School, "Power Kids." On this occasion we had the opportunity to minister more than one-hundred fifty children from our community. Children, ages three to nine, meet in the Power House every Sunday. This is a place where children learn the basics of the good news of Jesus, prayer, Bible lessons, praise and worship, Christian living, communion with God, and commitment to God. The spiritual growth of the children is very important to us.
FW Friends meets every Wednesday. Children, ages three to nine, rotate through different classes: crafts, games, bible story, praise and worship, and others that may be interchanged throughout the school year session. The children learn the fundamentals of a christian life and how to put them into practice outside of church.
Toddlers, ages three to five, meet in the Power House for praise and worship. Afterwards, they go to their own classroom where they learn about God and interact with other children.
Nursery care is for children ages newborn to two years old. New and breast-feeding mothers are welcome to stay in the nursery to watch the service from the monitor provided in the room.
