Our Story

The Fountain of Living Water Christian Church was born on April 4, 1985, in Coachella, CA.  It was co-founded by Steven Benavides Jr., and Efren (Bob) Benavides Sr.  In 1991 the temple on the corner of Monroe Street and Bliss Avenue was purchased by the Fountain and remained there for more than 20 years, recently relocating to North Indio on Market St.  The church is under the covering of Evangelical Vanguard Missionary Ministry. Our Apostles are Esteban Benavides Sr., Alfredo Gutierrez, and Steven Benavides Jr.

Our Mission

Our Mission is to preach Christ crucified, resurrected, and ascended, to preach salvation through the Word of God, to pray for the sick by laying on of the hands, to obey the sacraments - water baptism and communion, to wait on the promise of Christ's return for the Church, to bring deliverance to the oppressed and bound, and to exercise all Doctrine given to the New Testament Church.
