THE POWER OF GRATITUDE
EL PODER DE LA GRATITUD
- What if there was something that was both simple AND that could radically transform you?
- Something that has the power to transform you, your life, your relationships, and your health?
- Would that be something we’d be interested in?
- Believe it or not, this “something” is gratitude.
- And, yes, it really is that powerful.
EVERY TIME I THINK OF YOU
CADA VEZ QUE PIENSO EN USTEDES
- There is a very special Scripture that says, “every time I think of you, I give thanks to God.”
- I had to make those words the focus - because that is so special - in so many ways.
- That verse is directed to very special people.
- It’s directed to those who serve God & His people.
- It’s so special to think about that.
THE FAMILY THAT GIVES THANKS
LA FAMILIA QUE DA GRACIAS
- We’ve entered the month of Thanksgiving - a time to reflect on the things we can be thankful for!
- Sometimes, the busyness of life can stop us from slowing down and choosing gratitude.
- As families, we must remember and be grateful.
- After all giving thanks is the reason 4 the season.
- Let’s be families that give thanks.
AFTER THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY
DESPUÉS DEL DIA FESTIVO DE DAR GRACIAS
- How often do we come to God with a list of all the things we want Him to help us with?
- God loves for us to come to Him but also so we can express our gratefulness towards Him.
- We are encouraged to give thanks always.
- Intentionally enter God’s presence to say thank U.
- Today, on Thanksgiving Day, and always.
iGIVE THANKS IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES

EL PODER DE LA GRATITUD
Gratitude is a feeling of appreciation for something or somebody.
- Our apostle presented to us this past Sunday that gratitude is a powerful life changing principal.
- So powerful that it can transform our relationships and even our health.
- It is not a surprise that the world of psychology also adopted this principal.
- In fact, practicing gratitude can reduce stress and produces an immediate 10% increase in happiness. It's a key ingredient in relationships that glorify God.
“El que me ofrece gratitude, me honra. !Yo salvo al que permanece en mi camino.” - Salmos 50:23
- This is God’s will for us; to give Him thanks.
- This is the key scripture for our new series.
“Den gracias a Dios en toda situación, porque esta es su voluntad en Cristo Jesus.” - 1 Tesalonicenses 5:18
- In all circumstances, when we have in abundance and when we lack.
“No lo digo porque tenga escasez, pues he aprendido a contentarme, cualquiera que sea mi situación. Se vivir humildemente, y se tener abundancia. Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece.” - Filipenses 4:11
- Jesus gives thanks to the Father before he dies and before the bread and the five fish were multiplied.
- Let’s give thanks to God, for what it is His will and still yet to come.
- Therefore, Jesus Himself teaches us that to be thankful glorifies and is the direct connection to The Father. Jesus show us the power of gratitude with the “Ten Lepers Cleansed”.
- Luke / Lucas 17:11-19
- Gratitude is a double blessing.
- “The Father, his Son and the Bicycle”.
- Therefore, we could say that gratitude is a win-win-win.
- Praise and worship is a way to give thanks.
- We glorify God and blesses us and at the same time, we fight the enemy.
- “Giving thanks for the mole”.
- My socks may not match, but my feet are always warm.”

INTRODUCTION
- This is a very special Scripture in so many ways.
- One of our greatest leaders is being transparent.
- Here he is demonstrating great leadership.
- Apostle Paul gives thanks to God for the Believers — “including the church leaders”.
- So it’s a special scripture for all of us.
LIDERAR CON EL EJEMPLO
- Recently I shared that with our leaders.
- We must lead by example in everything we do.
- There is an old saying that first appeared in 1654.
“Los predicadores dicen, ‘Haz lo que digo, no lo que hago.’”
- Yes! This is some thing PREACHERS used to say! — spiritual leaders.
- This saying acknowledges that our actions are in direct opposition to our words.
- It is an acknowledgment of hypocrisy.
“Y sé tú mismo un ejemplo para ellos al hacer todo tipo de buenas acciones. Que todo lo que hagas refleje la integridad y la seriedad de tu enseñanza.” - Tito 2:7
- Our leadership is a reflection of those who have lead us: Parents; Teachers; Spiritual Leaders; etc.
- We Reflect over those whom we influence — Where WE Lead.
- That’s where we need to be the example.
- In the Focus Scripture, Paul gives us several examples that we as leaders must follow.
EJEMPLOS QUE LIDERES DEBEN SEGUIR
- COMMUNICATE WITH THEM
- COMUNÍCATE CON ELLOS
- THINK ABOUT THEM
- PIENSA EN ELLOS
- PRAY & INTERCEDE FOR THEM
- ORA E INTERCEDE POR ELLOS
- RECOGNIZE THEIR WORK
- RECONOCE SU TRABAJO
- ENCOURAGE & LOVE THEM
- ANIMA Y AMALOS
- Maybe you’re doing some of these examples already. Way to go!
- Maybe you recognize that you can better in some of these examples. That’s very Leader of you.
- My challenge to you-follow all of these examples.
[APPLICATION]
- Are you a good leader?
- Are you leading by your example?
- I lovingly encourage you to follow this focus given to us today.
- Every time you think of those who you lead, give thanks to God.
I WILL THINK, LEAD, AND GIVE THANKS TO GOD
PENSARÉ, LIDERARÉ, Y DARÉ GRACIAS A DIOS
